What an interesting day.

What an interesting day!

We did home schooling this morning, with only tears from Oliver. I got a call from my mother in law in Australia. I sent an email to re-enrol the boys for school next year at Mt Colah.I discovered we were on our last tube of vegemite!! I went on a walk with Mitchell and Oli and shared our lollies with some local boys. Rob and I went to teach a lesson at the nursing school that didn’t happen. Rob found a broken bass guitar for Jake to use. English tutoring with the lovely shy Lameck. I bought a rooster for tomorrow’s dinner. Removed some stitches from Alpha’s foot. I played a bit of football in the evening. We got a large request for school fees from a friend and was made aware of a news article about how poor the standard of education is in Tanzanian schools. We enjoyed a great family devotion after dinner. I responded to a medical consult via email from a friend in Oz. I finished the day with Dutch chocolates from mum. As I read through the days emails, I discovered my sister is on the west coast of Australia so we are as close as we are going to get until January.

Life is always interesting in Murgwanza. I am sure there was more, I just can’t remember. I feel exhausted just writing about it. Who knows what the Lord has planned for tomorrow!!
